First National Sira Conference

The first National Sira Conference was held at Ghazi University with the participation of Prof. Dr. Mahmood Saleem, Vice-Chancellor, Mir Chakar Khan Rind University of Technology, Dera Ghazi Khan.

The first National Sira Conference was held at Ghazi University in which more than twenty researchers from universities across the country presented their papers.

The first two-day National Sira Conference organized by the Department of Islamic Studies at Ghazi University, Dera Ghazi Khan has started today.

On the first day of the conference chaired by Vice-Chancellor Ghazi University DG Khan Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tufail [Medal of Distinction] Dr. Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq, Director General of International Islamic Institute Islamabad, Prof. Dr. Qibla Ayaz, Head of Islamic Ideological Council, University of Punjab Alam Islamia Dean Dr. Prof. Muhammad Hammad Lakhvi and Vice-Chancellor Mir Chakar Khan Rind University DG Khan Dr. Mahmood Saleem spoke on the subject. Former Ambassador General [R] Ashraf Saleem and Prof. Dr. Fazal Ahmad Khalid, Chairperson Punjab Higher Education Commission addressed the inaugural function of the conference.

Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, Chairman, Ruwit-e-Hilal Committee, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sulaiman Tahir, Vice-Chancellor, Khawaja Ghulam Farid University, and Dr. Zia-ul-Qayoom, Vice-Chancellor, Allama Iqbal Open University will attend the closing ceremony on the second day of the conference. The special guest of the conference was Punjab Health Advisor Hanif Khan Potafi. At the end of the ceremony, the Vice-Chancellor presented shields to the guests and participants.
