Prof. Dr. Engr. Touseef Aized, Vice Chancellor, Muhammad Nawaz Sharif University of Engineering and Technology (MNS-UET), Multan, formally assumed the additional charge of the office of Vice Chancellor, Mir Chakar Khan Rind University of Technology (MCUT), Dera Ghazi Khan, with effect from June 10, 2026.

Upon his arrival, he was warmly received by Prof. Dr. Mir Gul, Dean; Mr. Muhammad Arif Khan, Registrar; Mr. Muhammad Iqbal Baloch, Treasurer; Mr. Umar Khalid, Controller of Examinations; along with faculty members, officers, and other staff of the University.

Subsequently, Prof. Dr. Engr. Touseef Aized chaired an introductory meeting with the academic and administrative staff, during which various matters relating to the University's academic and administrative affairs were discussed. He also visited different academic departments, laboratories, and administrative offices.

On the occasion, the Vice Chancellor expressed his satisfaction with the University's infrastructure, available facilities, and the commitment and performance of its academic and administrative staff. He emphasized that the existing resources and human capital would be effectively utilized to further strengthen and advance the University.

He expressed confidence that, through the collective efforts and cooperation of all stakeholders, Mir Chakar Khan Rind University of Technology, Dera Ghazi Khan, will achieve greater progress and excellence in academic, research, and administrative domains under his leadership and guidance.
