Present Government is committed to bring tangible and essential improvements in the education sector specially in the field of technical education. It is commendable that the Mir Chaker Khan Rind University of Technology has made it possible for students to update their knowledge in various Technological disciplines,since modern technology has become an essential vehicle of rapid progress. Keeping in view the distinctive importance of education sector for national development and prosperity, the government has paid special attention to develop this University on modern lines. Technologically advanced countries have won laurels by reshaping their education sector according to their futuristic needs. Education is the best means of dealing with issues like poverty, unemployment and ignorance. That is why a comprehensive strategy has been devised by the Government of the Punjab to synchronize the education sector with the needs and demands of the present era.I believe that Mir Chaker Khan Rind University of Technology will cut open the new horizon in promoting technical education in the province especially for the people of D.G.Khan and significant improvements have been made in all domains of Mir Chakar Khan Rind university of Technology under the visionary leadership of Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Muhammad Tufail (TI).
